Alf Landon The governor of Kansas, he ran against Franklin Roosevelt in 1936. Landon is buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka, Indiana. It's a couple miles from the Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site. I visited there on July 7, 2007.
