My friend Scott and I visited Lake View Cemetery on September 20, 1998. We got to the Cleveland early Sunday morning (about 8:00 a.m.) We got lost and ended up in some of the not so nice parts of Cleveland.

We finally found Lake View Cemetery. It was the first of four presidential graves we were going to hit in Northern Ohio. It is a beautiful cemetery with rolling hills. One of Garfield's neighbors is John D. Rockefeller.

We visited Garfield's house, Lawnfield, in Mentor. OH on September 21, 1998.
